Marello at OroMeetup Paris

On December 6th Marello attended the OroMeetup event in Paris. The event was hosted by Synolia and OroInc, creator of the OroPlatform on which Marello is based. It showed the growing success of the OroPlatform and applications like OroCRM and Akeneo. With more than 100 attendees including local and international peers, partners, customers and prospects the event was a big success. We are thrilled to have met so many different people and to have experienced the enthusiasm towards Marello!

The Event

The day started off with a presentation by Oro’s co-founder and CEO Yoav Kutner. He spoke about how Oro products are influencing ecommerce today. Products built on the OroPlatform have helped companies increase their revenues worldwide. An interesting fact was presented by Yoav who noted a significant growth in B2B ecommerce. In the coming years B2B ecommerce sales will increase, topping $1 trillion by 2020. This means that ecommerce will account for 12% of all B2B sales. This is great news for the Oro products, as well as for Marello’s B2B features. The news contributed to the already positive vibe of the event!

We were excited to see this vibe reflect in the growing enthusiasm shown towards Marello. Through sharing our plans for Marello and showcasing our demo we got the chance to speak to many developers, merchants and community members from all over the world (from France all the way up to Australia!). Our team is very thankful for all the positive first-hand feedback in conversations with the community. We keep on learning from your suggestions and will keep all new insights in mind for Marello.
