Release: eBay Bridge

An increasing amount of merchants are adopting the marketplace model. They are opening up their sites as ‘marketplaces’ for other retailers to sell on, or start selling products on already existing marketplaces.

According to the eCommerce foundation marketplace giants such as Amazon, eBay and Alibaba will own almost 40% of the global online retail market by 2020. This is not even taking into account all the other marketplaces that are used worldwide.

eBay Bridge Integration

We understand that adding marketplaces to your sales channels can be crucial. That is why we introduce the eBay Bridge. With the eBay Bridge, merchants will be able to add eBay as an extra SalesChannel in Marello.

The integration between Marello Enterprise and eBay is using the eBay API in order to perform synchronizations between the two systems. The integration will allow business owners to:

• Import Orders from eBay;
• Create, update and delete Products and Images;
• Product Prices;
• Inventory;
• and Tax related entities such as TaxRules, TaxCodes and Tax Jurisdictions

It is possible to create different eBay integrations because of settings that are specifically created for certain marketplaces (i.e. US, Germany, Netherlands have different shipping methods available).
